We've got to give top honors to the person who spends the time to craft Patrick Stewart's head in such detail. Imagine a whole civilization of little Enterprises running around, then piling into an Enterprise vehicle when it comes time to travel. Here's an example of excellent attention to detail and fairly accurate modeling of Star Trek's USS Enterprise from the original run. There are a bunch of examples of attempts to replicate Star Fleet's ships on the Sporepedia, but we found this one clearly stood out among the rest. An all-female Orion planet may prove to be a tricky one to conquer. We can only assume their in-game charm rating will be through the roof. While the Spore creature model doesn't really get across the sexual draw and manipulative power Orion females purportedly possess, it still gets the job done. Star Trek's green-skinned women needed representation here. Maybe these guys can be customized so dropping them on an enemy planet soon consumes food as they rapidly reproduce. There's a bunch of them up on the Sporepedia, but this one seems to best replicate how they looked in the show. One of the more famous episodes from the original Star Trek run featured these furry little menaces. But we wouldn't want to get in the way of an army of these things clambering clumsily up a slope to try and conquer my civilization. This generically named race of three-legged aliens are all-around badasses, with all kinds of natural resistances, biological star ships, and plenty of ways to rip apart their enemies. It does look fearsome, right? Anyway, we just felt like this kind of virtual representation of Star Trek's cheesy ape-like creatures with a nasty bit deserved some kind of recognition, and here it is.Īnything that can serve as worthy competition to the Borg commands respect. It's basically just a head with legs, actually. ![]() The first thing you'll notice about this attempt at an Andorian is the figure seems to be missing most of the body. What's up with that? Looks sort of like a hula dancer.
